In instances where local evaluations cannot be completed, a qualified and accredited swim coach can be endorsed to sign off the preliminary skills pool assessment. Swimming coaches are required to provide their Australian Swimming Teachers and Coaches Associate (ASTCA) number, their name and email address and the name of the children who have successfully completed the swim.

New members are always welcome at any time during the season. If you would like to come and try before you commit, that's fine, everyone is welcome. Come down on Saturday at 2:15pm and fill out the sign-in sheet to start your free trial.
Nipper Uniform purchase and/or Manual Sign-on Day for new members was held on Saturday 28th September 2024 11am-1pm

Don't forget to make a payment - membership request won't proceed until fee is paid.
The Uniform shop will be open 30 minutes prior to most nipper activity days, except creek days.

Active Kids - From January 2024, Active Kids vouchers are offered on a means-tested basis and have been reduced to $50 per school aged child. Service NSW also advised that a new voucher program will be launched on a new technology platform and will be managed by the Department of Customer Service and Service NSW. The SLSNSW Membership Team has been working closely with Services NSW and the SLSA IT team and have been advised that this integration will require a full re-write of the process in the Members Area. We have been advised that it is unable to be developed, tested, and released to production in time for 2024/25 renewals.
