The Far North Coast Branch Competition Calendar for 2018/19 can be viewed here.
Nominations are now open for the next round of coaching courses. The new SLSA Coaching Framework is fundamentally taking over what was formally known as the Junior Coaching, Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 courses. The major change to the coaching framework is that it is now discipline specific. SLSA Surf Sports Coach training sits under the umbrella of the National Coaching Accreditation Scheme (NCAS), which covers over 80 different sports throughout Australia and is managed by the Australian Sports Commission (ASC).
Have a look at Circular 3400-2015 for more information on the coaching framework and course details. Contact Ben at email@example.com for details
Members in the Active category, wishing to compete in the State or Australian Titles will be required to complete a minimum of 25 patrol hours prior to 31 December. (For new BM or SRC holders - those that gain awards in October/November/December a reduced number of hours applies - see us for more detail).
